The War We Didn't Prepare For
Prologue
I was sitting in the same spot i sat on when i was little, i used to come up to the top of the Big Ben all the time, it wasn't in my plans for some reason as i got older, I'm sitting here for the first time, appreciating the sunset, possibly the last time. I wish i could protect it, i saw the videos of monuments crashing to the ground, like St. Basil's Cathedral, France's Arch, and the royal palace of Madrid, the war is spreading to us, so we better ready ourselves, even though I'm only 16, I'm expected to fight. I'm an outcast, not many people gave me the time of day. Rarely someone would give me the bell. On the lighter side of events i got a few friends at school who are like me, only two though. There is Savannah, came to school smart, she was also very clever in logic, and negotiating. She wasn't much of an outcast, in fact she was in the crowd. There is also Jackson, who was a haggler and a gambler, he liked high risk, and was a bit of a card shark. We were being forced to defend England which i would've done by option. The plan was since England keeps Europe in check, we start by fighting off the enemy form us, then we take back the power houses, like France and Germany, we then can take Europe back. This enemy, is actually a new power house country. They claim to be Rome Re-born but so did many other empires. They want people like me dead and have done so to many. They wear plate, that strangely doesn't dint. Yet I'm sitting here in a WWII English officer Uniform, i choose it because it seem the most comfortable, yet it doesn't seem sturdy, though. I'm not sure why I was told it was very Special. To be honest, I'm not sure why a sunset reminded me of all of this.

This is a story idea, i have, tell me if its bad :/
